The difference between Margarine and Butter

"Do you know the difference between margarine and butter?

1. Both have the same amount of calories.

2. Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams compared to 5 grams.

3. Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study.

4. Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods.

5. Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few only because they are added!

6. For most people, butter tastes better than margarine and it can enhance the flavors of other foods. (The best flavor claim margarine can make in ads is that it tastes the same as butter.)

7. Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years.

Margarine is ...

Margarine is :

1. Very high in trans fatty acids.
2. Triple risk of coronary heart disease.
3. Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol)
4. Lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol).
5. Increases the risk of cancers by up to five fold.
6. Lowers quality of breast milk.
7. Decreases immune response.
8. Decreases insulin response.

"And here is the part that is very interesting! Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC. This fact alone was enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance). "

You can try this yourself: purchase a tub of margarine and leave it in your garage or shaded area. Within a couple of days you will note a couple of things: no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something) It does not rot or smell differently. Nothing will grow on it - not even those teeny weeny microorganisms will not find a home to grow. Why? Because it is nearly plastic. Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toast?

How people pump-and-dump scams work ?

Scammers buy stock in a small company, often with stock prices of only a few dollars per share. Then they send out millions of e-mail or text messages across the globe to encourage recipients to buy that stock. These messages can even be disguised as confidential information that was sent to the recipient by mistake.
When enough people buy the stock, the price of the stock goes up. When the price is high enough, the spammers sell their shares. The price goes back down, and people who purchased the stock as a result of the tip suffer.
It can be difficult to find out who's behind pump-and-dump e-mail scams. That’s because spammers can take control of large numbers of computers and turn them into zombies that can work together as powerful 'botnets' to send the spam messages out.
For more information, see Zombies and botnets: Help keep your computer under control.

What you can do to avoid pump-and-dump scams ?

• Use spam filtering technology. For more information, see Help keep spam out of your inbox.
• Don't make investment decisions based on anonymous e-mail or text messages you receive.
• Don't open attachments in unsolicited e-mails. To avoid being caught by spam filters, stock spam usually is sent as an image or as a PDF attachment.
• Use an Internet service provider (ISP) or e-mail provider that has implemented Sender ID Framework, a technical solution to detect and block spoofed e-mail. Windows Live Hotmail and Exchange Server 2003/2007 are two solutions that support this technology.

Margarine or butter

Margarine or butter? If you answered "butter," I've got some information that will make you glad you did. Today Ms. Jenny Thompson from HSI sent me an e-mail that tell me about The different between butter and margarine by L. Eugene Arnold, M.Ed., M.D.; a Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at Ohio State University. Here's what Dr. Arnold writes:
1. Margarine.
2. Butter.

Two primary causes of Anemia

The two primary causes of anemia are iron-poor blood (often triggered by menstruation or internal bleeding), and a deficiency in two critical vitamins: folic acid and vitamin B-12. Getting good amounts of these nutrients is especially important for seniors because as we age our ability to absorb vitamins from food diminishes. Consequently, our tendency to develop anemia rises. Anemia is easily diagnosed with a typical blood test, so ask your doctor to check your next blood test for a reading of your hemoglobin level - especially if you're feeling unusually fatigued. If you do have an anemic condition, the next step is to find out the cause. But if your doctor downplays anemia's importance, or if he recommends a prescription drug, seek a second opinion from a doctor who's knowledgeable about the nutritional problems that can cause an anemic condition.
I publish This information to give more people with more information about Anemia, wish this can be useful

Starbucks is testing $1 coffee and free refills

Finally after a few years I only can breakfast and get free refills coffee at McDonald's... , But now...surprise me if I also can do the same thing at Starbucks. The famous place for people who want buy some expensive coffee, ha...ha...ha... , great that's can make me more enjoy my coffee at Starbucks with more comfortable feeling about my pocket, ha...ha...ha...
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Starbucks Corp is testing $1 coffee and free refills in its Seattle outlets as the global gourmet coffee chain grapples with slower consumer spending and rising competition from fast-food rivals. Company shares were up at midday on the Nasdaq, rising 2.3 percent, or 43 cents, to $19.11.
Starbucks is experimenting with a smaller, "short" $1 cup as well as free refills for brewed coffee. Starbucks charges around $1.50 to $4.00 for a coffee, depending on size and flavor.
In a statement, Starbucks said, "This test is not indicative of any new business strategy."
The company said testing is part of its ongoing business and that the company will not comment on specifics of its test campaigns until a final decision is made.
Shares in Starbucks have lost around half their value over the past year amid worries about U.S. consumer spending, over-expansion and competition from fast-food rivals such as McDonald's Corp that offer specialty coffees.
Regular coffee prices at both McDonald's and Dunkin' Donuts, a unit of Dunkin' Brands Inc., start in the low $1 range.
Starbucks announced a management reshuffle earlier this year, bringing Howard Schultz back into the chief executive position. It also said it would close underperforming U.S. outlets and speed up international growth.
Starbucks has around 15,000 stores around the world including over 10,000 in the United States. (record by : Yahoo.news )

Anemia identified by WHO

Anemia was identified by using criteria established by the World Health Organization (WHO): hemoglobin concentration below 13 g/dl (grams per deciliter) for men, and below 12 g/dl for women. Hemoglobin is a protein in red blood cells, and anemia is defined as having a low number of red blood cells. These cells are crucial for carrying oxygen from the lungs to tissues throughout the body.
Overall, anemia was associated with greater decline in physical performance, compared to subjects who were not anemic
Decline in physical performance was noted even among anemic subjects who were completely free of diseases associated with anemia (such as kidney failure and cancer)
Subjects with borderline anemia (one g/dl above the WHO criteria) also had greater physical decline compared to subjects with normal hemoglobin levels This study confirms a potential crisis that many doctors simply don't recognize: Anemia in older patients is an independent risk factor for physical decline.
